Trained as a painter, Sakura Haru creates handcrafted objects of desire with respect to sustainability, working with recycled metals, conflict-free stones and low-waste studio practices. Sakura is from Okinawa, one of the tiniest and most tropical islands of Japan. After over 8 years of experience working for established and reputable jewelry designers, Haru began her own line of delicate jewelry in 2008. Sakura now lives and works in San Francisco, CA.
