naomi mcintosh
Naomi was originally trained as an architect at the Bartlett School of Architecture in London, and after completing a Masters Degree in Design from Central Saint Martins, now creates ‘wearable drawings’ using planes and cross sections to suggest forms and capture volumes, transforming 2d surfaces into 3d objects.
To create her structural and precise work, she uses woods, paints, textiles, and metals to highlight the forms and draw attention to areas of the body. She refines the 3d forms both with CAD and by hand. Naomi lives and works in Edinburgh, UK.
