Naia Koobatian received her BS in Interior Architecture from UC Davis. She studied in Copenhagen, Hawaii and France before settling down in Healdsburg, CA. Combining a love of photography and collage, her designs are comprised of original illustrations, photographs and multi-layered pigment inks, printed on silk, wool and cashmere fibers. “I have always been drawn to naturally occurring design, first and foremost for its authenticity, but also because it changes over time. It’s that transformation, even during decay, that fascinates me the most.”
