Julia Turner's work has been exhibited in solo shows nationally and internationally as well as widely published. Schooled in the United States and Europe, she currently creates her designs and studio pieces in San Francisco. Julia's primary material is manipulated wood, stained or burnt to achieve the desired appearance, before incorporating metals such as gold, sterling silver or steel. She also works in enamel, Japanese seed beads, and other mediums such as painting and sculpture.
